THEA, SHOW AND WET KITCHEN
What distinguishes Thea from other kitchens is a profile that separates the doors, making it a handy solution for opening its units. Thanks to Antonio Citterio’s attention to detail and exquisite choices, Thea enables the design of both Wet and Show kitchens.
Using rational architecture to craft the ideal livable setting, Thea perfectly separates the functional part – or Wet kitchen – from the socialising area – or Show kitchen.
The wall that comes in NTF black ash with a built-in coplanar door from the new Frame System is used as both storage and walk-through. Thea’s elegant and wood panelled backdrop flatters the island in the middle of the kitchen. That same island is characterised by the original design of its Waterfall worktop and Canto snack bar that are in perfect harmony with the double Madia featuring interiors in NTF fossil oak.
CONVIVIUM epitomizes open space living, ideal for the homeowner that enjoys entertaining friends, cooking and eating family meals together. One of the first handleless kitchen systems conceived in 2002, its unique integrated handle embodies the timeless design of Arclinea. The main feature of this kitchen is the island which elegantly incorporates both the function of a professional kitchen with Italian beauty and design. Its integrated height adjustable wooden table serves for food preparation, cooking and eating as well as a buffet area for any social gathering.
Eurocucina 2016 exhibits the new Arclinea concept kitchen by Antonio Citterio PRINCIPIA.
PRINCIPIA teams a grained wood in a “rough” finish with stainless steel in the innovative colours generated with the PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) technological process. Natural materials, innovative production and artisan detailing combine and the resulting new units, freestanding dressers and dedicated storage units are then developed internally to become true work zones.
The architect Antonio Citterio started his collaboration with Arclinea in 1986 and in 1988 The ITALIA kitchen was born, the first professional kitchen to be adapted for domestic use. Its generously sized steel worktops alongside spacious tall units for storage and appliances, separate washing and cleaning areas, a functional island and patented recessed handle door design. Perfect for home chefs who want to experience restaurant-style performance, this benchmark project for Arclinea, Italia embraces cutting-edge new finishes and the most up-to-date innovative and practical solutions.
Lignum Et Lapis
Lignum Et Lapis
In 2008 Antonio Citterio and Arclinea presented LIGNUM ET LAPIS. The main materials being stone and wood, materials used exclusively for design and project creativity. Advanced technology has allowed for the production of islands, worktops and workbenches in stone: true physical industrial sculptures. The unusual door enhances the fineness of natural wood with its exclusive stave design in variable widths. It is available in larch, mahogany, nordic oak and all the lacquer colours from the Arclinea Collection.
The ARTUSI kitchen is an innovative outcome of the Italia kitchen, transforming it into a multi-purpose, independent, stainless steel unit.
